Books, You Might Fancy Part 2

A continuation of the previous book list post in Part 1 available here.

Most of the books I’ve read (or listened to) below were handed to me or recommended. Each has contributed to my learning journey, and should you decide to read, I hope they do the same for you. Most are related to human, spiritual, esoteric, and self-development themes.

They are not in any particular order, and please feel free to share any recommendations you have for me to add to my physical and digital backlog. More books will be added in future blog posts!

Ponder on This

Ponder on This by Alice Bailey
Of it’s time, but perfect for our time. Succinct advice for spiritual seekers. Part of a larger series of 24 philosophy, esoteric and spiritual books by the author.

Bhagavad Gita

The Bhagavad Gita
Timelessly classic and essential dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna, offering profound and unforgettable insights into life, karma, and self-realisation.

Galactic Federations Councils

Galactic Federations. Councils and Secret Space Programs by Dr. Michael Salla
Probably should have started with earlier works as this book ignites your interest like the X files. Disclosure for the open-minded and open-hearted alike.

The Autobiography of Malcolm X

The Autobiography of Malcolm X by Malcolm X with Alex Haley
A compelling life story that showcases activism, and the fight against racial injustice. A life of meaning with a transformation of belief and self is as relevant now as when it was written.

The Almanak of Naval Ravikant

The Almanack of Naval Ravikant by Eric Jorgenson
A pragmatic and practical guide to trying to live your best life. He focuses on personal excellence through continuous learning, primarily by reading. It’s philosophical and encourages you to take responsibility for your happiness.

The Afterlife of Billy Fingers

The Afterlife of Billy Fingers by Annie Kagan
An easy-to-read introduction to a personal story about receiving messages from the other side. It’s the relatable life experiences and upbeat tone that make this book a success for the open-minded. Despite two different recommendations, I resisted reading this for years, mainly due to its poor cover design. A lesson in there somewhere.

The Four Agreements

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz
An accessible classic of yet more Toltec wisdom. Love and integrity are at the heart of the practical advice in this book. The content is relatable and honest and resonates deeply. Watch out for more books by DMR in future blog posts.

Give and Take

Give and Take by Adam Grant
I don’t remember too much about this book but I do recall the feeling of vindication that for those playing the long game of love, sharing and generosity, it will eventually reap the highest life rewards - whatever they may be.

Meditations

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
Marcus Aurelius's reflections offer stoic wisdom on virtue, self-discipline, and resilience. You’ve probably read many of the phrases on social media quote posts, usually in black and white with a picture of a billionaire boss or shredded sports star.

No Man is an Island

No Man is an Island by Thomas Merton
Explores the necessity of community and solitude for spiritual growth. The type of book where you need to concentrate and probably not the best for audiobook driving.

Influence

Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B Cialdini PhD
Hey, I just spoke to your neighbour and she just purchased this 4.6-rated book and said it would be perfect for you too. It’s my last copy and….

Mans Search For Meaning

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
Frankl's profound narrative on finding purpose amidst suffering. Some of the narrative is harrowing but finding hope, humour and new levels of resilience in life’s difficult situations provides plenty to reflect on.

Soul Speak Julia Cannon

Soul Speak by Julia Cannon
The daughter of the great Dolores Cannon, Julia compiles a metaphysical guide to searching for root causes of health problems. Years of QHHT, and the revealed spiritual insights have created this short guide to exploring what your body is trying to tell you.

The RA Material

The Ra Material: Law of One All Books - by Jim McCarty, Don Elkins, Carla Rueckert
Another challenging listen/read that’s worth it. Astonishingly consistent universal wisdom from a group consciousness known as Ra, the books cover a wide range of topics and interests, with all answers explained within the context of our limited, conditioned beliefs.

Tuesdays with Morrie

Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom
A book the phrase ‘life-affirming’ was made for. Beautiful in it’s simplicity and focus on love and appreciation for humanity and the key elements within life’s journey.

The Divine Design

The Divine Design by Lorie Ladd
This is an excellent guide and explanation of the living entity that is Earth and its shift from 3D to 5D consciousness. Understanding humanity’s own evolution as part of a larger intelligence is explained with confidence and clarity.

If you’re interested in the legend that is Dolores Cannon, some of her QHHT books are listed in a post here.
